What is RockSolidFaith

So much of life is unknown and unclear and navigating our lives through challenges and difficulties when it seems that there is nothing reliable and the road is forever shifting , can be a real challenge to our peace and makes decision making much more difficult. What we could really do with is some sort of stability and reliability. "Rocksolidfaith" can be the way to find that stability that can make a real difference.

Rocksolidfaith is here to help you find something solid and reliable to base your life on.

What we need is something trustworthy.

Faith and trust are closely related and if your faith is sound then you will be able to trust what you are putting your faith in.

But if what you are putting your trust in is without any foundation or is an idea but with out any substance, then no amount of faith will be of any value to you. Trusting in a groundless idea is worthless. More than that, it will cause you to loose you balance and cause you to fall over.

Just like the seat you are sitting on right now. You believe it can hold your weight and by sitting on it you trust it to take your weight. You trust it because it is real and is substantial and is resting on a reliable foundation i.e. the floor.

In the bible it is recorded that Jesus told the Parable of the sower to explain that if our faith is to be enduring and effective in dealing with the pressures that come upon our lives then it needs to be embedded into the very foundation of the creator of all things - God himself - and only then will it stand the test of the pressures of day to day life.

The test is like what Jesus was describing when he told the parable of the man who built his house on the rock and it stood up to a storm, while the man who built his house upon the sand found that his house fell down under pressure from the storm. Through this Parable Jesus was making the point that Hearing the Gospel from God is not sufficient to make your foundation strong and secure but only when we respond to it and alow God to make the difference will our foundations become strong and stable. This means putting your fain in Jesus and what he says to the point of allowing it to change you from the inside. Only then will it stand the test of a storm.

The testing of our faith in time of difficulties show us that it is real and alive.

Let the seed of faith in the living God take good and proper root in your lives.

This below, is the passage in the bible where Jesus explains the parable of the sower.

“Now you are ready to listen to the revelation of the parable of the sower and his seeds:

“The seed that fell on the beaten path represents the heart of the one who hears the message of the kingdom realm but doesn’t understand it. The Adversary then comes and snatches away what was sown into his heart.

“The seed sown on gravel represents the person who gladly hears the kingdom message, but his experience remains shallow. Shortly after he hears it, troubles and persecutions come because of the kingdom message he received. Then he quickly falls away, for the truth didn’t sink deeply into his heart.

“The seed sown among weeds represents the person who receives the message, but all of life’s busy distractions, his divided heart, and his ambition for wealth result in suffocating the kingdom message and prevent him from bearing spiritual fruit. “As for the seed that fell upon good, rich soil, it represents the hearts of people who hear and fully embrace the message of heaven’s kingdom realm. Their lives bear good fruit—some yield a harvest of thirty, sixty, even one hundred times as much as was sown.”

"Faith comes by hearing the "word" of God", this "word" in the original language that it was written in, is "Rema" which means spoken to me personally. It is this rema word of God that I respond to by faith that opens the door to the Kingdom of God. Revelations Chapter 3 verse 20 says "Listen! I am standing and knocking at your door. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in and we will eat together."

By allowing the seed of faith that comes from hearing God's "word" to me, take a good root in my life and become a solid foundation rock on which I base all my motivation and actions, my life will be fruitful even 100 fold!!

This is faith in the living God that is RockSolid.
